Teach For Bangladesh (TFB) recruits outstanding and diverse leaders to our unique Fellowship program. Our Fellows commit to teaching for two years in a low-income community, where they work as a teachers at local schools. During those two years, Fellows are immersed in their placement school and community, working as full-time teachers, and discovering the joys and challenges that come with expanding opportunity for all children. After successful graduation from the Fellowship in two years, they become part of the TFB alumni network. Informed by their experiences, inspired by their students, and equipped with the leadership skills they developed through the program, TFB Alumni go on to pursue impactful careers both inside and outside the education system, helping to build a Bangladesh that better serves all children.<\/p> <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>

Empower Students<\/h3>\r\n

TFB Fellows are first and foremost educators who believe that all children are capable of excellence. During the Fellowship, they learn the building blocks of great teaching, and work relentlessly to ensure their students\u2019 learning and growth. They build classrooms that are welcoming and joyful, where all children develop confidence, communication, critical thinking, and socioemotional skills alongside their academics. Our Fellows help students unlock their own leadership potential and discover their ability to create change in the world around them. <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

Partner with Communities<\/h3>\r\n

We believe that students and communities are the true leaders of the movement for equity. TFB Fellows work tirelessly to build authentic relationships with students, parents, and other community members. Every year, Fellows support student-led community-service projects to address fundamental challenges such as health and hygiene, student safety, gender equity, waste management, recycling, climate change, etc. Fellows create a positive impact in communities and building student leadership in the process.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

Support Schools<\/h3>\r\n

Fellows are integral members of their school team, reporting to the school head teacher (in addition to their TFB manager), and working alongside other school colleagues. This is a unique opportunity for Fellows to understand schools from the inside out, learn from the veteran teachers, collaborate on school-wide initiatives, and share innovations & best practices with others. Our Fellows cultivate strong school relationships to have a far greater impact as well as learning.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>

Fellows are in the driver\u2019s seat of their learning and growth through the two-year program. Your training begins soon after you accept your offer to join the Fellowship and continues throughout your two-year commitment.
